July sees The Greene Note host an array of acts to serenade you on a Summer's evening (fingers crossed it will feel like Summer!) on Thursday 4th July in the Greene Room.
Cook and the Case, the headline act, are a five-piece from London. With passion in every performance, intelligent songwriting and Buckley-esque vocals they are not to be missed. Due to play Ronnie Scott’s in September - see them here first.
Formed just over a year ago in Chesham, Big Sixes are a vital new force on the indie scene, embracing influences from the melodic beauty of Bon Iver to the emotionalism of My Bloody Valentine. Catch their acoustic set here at The Greene Note. Last time they played here they blew the audience away.
Harry Phillips, a young man with a guitar from Aldbury, will be opening the evening. He hasn’t played at the Greene Note before but having listened to his songs, this booking was a must!

The Greene Note is back with its monthly live acoustic session in the Greene Room, on Thursday 6th June.
This time we have the amazing Charlie Roth, all the way from Minnesota! His album 'Broken Ground' reached number 6 in the Euro Americana charts.
Charlie will be supported by Red Kite and Sink the Ship, serenading us with some raw, unplugged talent.

Our fantastic local cycle sportive is back, and this time we've teamed up with triathlon club Shires Triers to bring you an even better event.
With 50k and 70k ride options, the sportive involves a challenging route around the Chiltern Hills, with pub stops along the way, free refreshments and Get Buzzing bars for every rider, as well as free breakfast rolls at the finish.
We're also holding a Kids Bike Show in the Greene Room, courtesy of The Little Bike Company, with an additional opportunity to purchase spare inner tubes and accessories on the day.

A comedy treat is coming to Berkhamsted in the form of the brand new BerkomedyFest, featuring 26 up-and-coming comedians over 13 nights, starting on Monday 11th March. There will be comedy every single night in the Greene Room until 27th March, excluding Friday and Saturday nights.
Run by Get Stuffed, the driving force behind the annual summer Tringe Festival, which attracts big name acts honing their shows for the Edinburgh Fringe in August, Berkomedy Fest is set to be an annual event for Berkhamsted.

On Thursday 7th March The Greene Note presents CC Smugglers, Caesar James and Jess Harvey, live in the Greene Room for another session of fantastic acoustic music.
Described as 'genuinely innovative, original and contemporary' CC Smugglers have developed a reputation for interesting and creative mixes of roots music in orignal tunes, and great live shows, having performed at Shepherd's Bush.
They return to the Greene Note for a second time after a previously successful performance.

The Berko Speakeasy is back! A cabaret of short stories featuring tales of robots, tigers and ghosts performed live by professional actors. Join us on Wednesday 6th March for bootleg cocktails, entertainment and prizes.
The line up includes stories from Toby Litt (who has just been shortlisted for the Sunday Times EFG Bank short story award), US filmmaker Miranda July, Granta writer Rajesh Parameswaran, VS Pritchett award winner Carys Davies, upcoming writer Mike Scott Thomson and the classic Guy de Maupassant story will be brought to life.
