Oakman Inns Cycle Sportive, Sunday 21st October

The Oakman Inns Cycle Sportive is back for 2012, taking place on Sunday 21st October.
Last year's inaugural event saw over 50 riders taking part in the challenge, and this year hopes to be an even bigger event with London 2012 and the Tour de France fresh in people's minds.
A rural, hilly and scenic circular road route with a 50k or 70k option, starting and finishing at the Kings Arms, Berkhamsted, with refreshment stops at the Red Lion, Water End and The Akeman, Tring, this sportive is perfect for everyone, from novice to elite cyclists.
Registration opens at 7.30am at the Kings Arms, Berkhamsted. There will be an event briefing at 7.40am and staggered starts from 7.45am to 8.30am.
Entry is £12 including refreshments.
Entry forms are available at The Akeman, The Kings Arms and The Red Lion, or can be taken on the day.
Route maps and descriptions will be provided at the start for your information, but the course will also be well sign-posted. Route maps are available to view online here:

The Oakman Inns Cycle Sportive has been fully approved and insured through British Cycling.
